A 15×15 platen covers most left-chest-plus-full-front work on adult small through XL tees, a tote face, and the body of a hoodie if you can clear the pocket and seams. Oversized streetwear prints, jacket backs, and 16×20 shop transfers still want a commercial platen. Clearance matters as much as width

HTVRONT and Cricut both publish about 4.5 cm / 1.8 in of heating height on their 2026 autos — enough for many hoodies, not a stacked sweatshirt with a zipper. Clamshells pinch thicker garments at the hinge. If hoodies are the product, read types of presses before you cheap out.
